Construction Litigation
Our construction practice group defends and advises contractors, subcontractors, architects and their insurers in a wide array of construction related issues. We represent clients in litigation involving complex construction matters including negligent design, construction, and delay on commercial and residential projects. We also have extensive experience analyzing construction documents including AIA contracts involving owners, architects, and contractors.
With a background in architectural engineering, as well as first-hand construction experience, we believe we are better equipped to efficiently resolve disputes within this industry.
Experience in this practice area includes:
- Resolving a commercial dispute over roof work performed for an office complex.
- Defending an engineering firm against claims of construction defects in a 200 unit condominium complex.
- Litigating coverage in a homeowner warranty policy regarding structural defect coverage.
- Defending a developer of condominiums in a suit brought by a homeowners association alleging systemic faulty construction.
