Domestic Relations

Our firm has a broad practice representing clients in divorce and divorce related proceedings. This is a very sensitive area of practice, which requires focus on the client's personal needs.

As in all areas of our practice, attention to detail is provided. We understand that clients want access to counsel throughout the process. Therefore, we work to be both responsive and diligent in handling domestic matters. Our skill and experience help each client evaluate and concentrate on their goals.

Experience in this practice area includes:

• Mediating and otherwise resolving domestic relations actions without the need for extensive court proceedings.
  
• Defending an action for change of custody in a two-day trial, in which a father sought a change of custody; the trial court refused to change custody despite a recommendation by the guardian ad litem for a change.
  
• Representing parties in numerous jury and non-jury trials throughout the state.
