Representing professionals requires a combination of legal expertise and the ability to understand all aspects of the client's practice. We represent a wide range of professionals including accountants, architects, brokers, chiropractors, counselors, directors and officers, engineers, lawyers, medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, podiatrists, pharmacists, nurses, dialysis providers, perfusionists, and other health care professionals. We also serve as personal counsel to professionals in making sure their interests are adequately being represented by their malpractice insurance carriers during litigation.

We have experience in providing insight and guidance throughout all stages of the litigation process, and offer advice on ways to avoid recurrent claims. Additionally, we have substantial experience representing professionals before Licensing Boards.

  • Taking medical malpractice cases to verdict in Georgia, Iowa, Nevada, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
  • Defending medical malpractice cases pending in Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
  • Defending a lawyer and his law firm against charges that they failed to provide full disclosure, of collateral securing a sub-prime loan, to a commercial developer.
  • Representing a major law firm in a securities fraud matter.
  • Representing a former Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court in a malpractice action, accusing the Justice of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty.
  • Representing hospitals and nurses in a variety of malpractice claims involving allegations of burn injuries from the faulty grounding of electrical equipment, nerve injury due to incorrect site selection for injections, negligence in removing a catheter, negligent monitoring of babies, and ER liability.
  • Representing lawyers in legal malpractice suits arising from varied practice areas including real estate matters, securities matters, lien filings, and personal injury actions.
