Robert B. Hocutt

Robert Hocutt received his undergraduate training at Wake Forest University and at the Free University of Berlin in Germany. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1967. Upon graduation, he joined the Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice and participated in the investigation and trial of both civil and criminal cases, some of which received national attention.

In 1970, Mr. Hocutt left the Justice Department and joined Nall & Miller where he has concentrated in civil litigation. His litigation practice includes product liability, pharmacist malpractice, fire litigation, tractor trailer litigation, premises liability and civil rights.

Mr. Hocutt has developed considerable expertise in coverage disputes involving both personal and commercial liability insurance policies. He represents many insurance companies on complex coverage issues and litigates the interpretation of policies.
