Clinton F. Fletcher

 

Clinton F. Fletcher is a senior associate with Nall & Miller, LLP.  He practices in the areas of products liability, aviation litigation, premises liability, and business litigation.

In his practice, Mr. Fletcher has represented a broad spectrum of manufacturers of products, including manufacturers of construction equipment, material handling equipment, major appliances, tires, H.V.A.C., and pharmaceuticals and medical devices.  In his products liability practice, Mr. Fletcher has experience defending warranty claims arising under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Georgia's Lemon Law.  His aviation practice focuses on defending major airlines in personal injury claims and commercial shipping losses, relying upon provisions in the Federal Aviation Act, the Airline Deregulation Act, Air Carrier Access Act, Warsaw & Montreal Conventions, and the various Federal Aviation Regulations.

A member of the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Fletcher is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and Southern District of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.  Mr. Fletcher is also a member of the American Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association (sitting as  a Board Member of the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers), the Defense Research Institute ("DRI"), and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.  He is also the Young Lawyer Substantive Liaison to the Products Liability Committee of the DRI.  Mr. Fletcher was picked as a  "Rising Star" in 2009 and 2010.  This honor was published by Georgia Super Lawyers and Atlanta Magazine.

Co-Authored, "Formaldehyde:  Distinguishing Facts from Hype", 2009 DRI Product Liability Conference, April 15-17, 2009.

Lectured at the 2009 DRI Product Liability Conference, "Proper Site Inspections - How to Avoid a Wildfire of Controversy", April 15, 2009.

In 2001, Mr. Fletcher earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law where he was a managing editor of the Emory International Law Review and was commended for excellence in the Kessler-Eidson Trial Program.  In 1995, Mr. Fletcher earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, cum laude, from Boston University. 

Away from the office, Mr. Fletcher sits on the Board of Directors for St. Jude's Recovery Center, a non-profit, comprehensive addiction treatment service for Metro Atlanta.  Mr. Fletcher is an active member of USA Triathlon and USRowing.
