Amanda L. Matthews

Amanda L. Matthews joined Nall & Miller in 2008 after practicing insurance defense at Swift Currie McGhee & Hiers, LLP in Atlanta. Ms. Matthews specializes in civil litigation and has developed an expertise in the area of motor carrier litigation. Ms. Matthews has represented clients in an assortment of cases involving contract disputes, uninsured motorist claims, property damage, personal injury and wrongful death. She has settled numerous cases by dispositive motions in state and federal court and successfully resolved matters through mediation. Ms. Matthews also works within the firm's healthcare practice group, representing several psychiatric facilities in Atlanta in a variety of litigation proceedings.

Ms. Matthews earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Public Administration, also from the University of Alabama. She graduated from Georgia State University College of Law with an honors designation in litigation. While at Georgia State University, Ms. Matthews was on the moot court board, and served as the President of the Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Matthews also received multiple honors as finalist and best advocate at numerous local and national mock trial competitions.
